Everything you need to know before downloading.
Does Metrya store my health data?
No. All your Apple Health data stays on your device. When you ask a question, only the relevant data window is sent directly from your phone to your chosen AI provider (Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini) using your own API key. Metrya has no servers and does not receive, store, or transmit your health data.
What API key do I need?
Metrya supports Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Google Gemini. You'll need an API key from at least one of these providers. API usage is billed directly by your chosen provider at their standard rates — Metrya doesn't add any markup or take a cut.

What Apple Health data does it use?
Metrya reads sleep (stages, duration), heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, heart rate recovery, respiratory rate, SpO₂, step count, walking speed, body weight, BMI, body fat percentage, and lean body mass. It supports Apple Watch, Oura, Garmin, Withings, and any other HealthKit-connected device.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a single non-consumable in-app purchase — you pay once and own it permanently. No recurring billing, no monthly fees. The price is set in App Store Connect and confirmed at checkout through Apple's standard payment flow.
What if I reinstall the app?
Your Pro purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored at any time via Settings → Restore Purchase. Preview usage counters for free users are stored in iOS Keychain and survive reinstalls.
What are Recurring Insights?
Recurring Insights is a Pro feature that lets you set up automated AI health reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. You choose which data to include (sleep, HRV, activity, bio age, wellness logs), set a time, and Metrya generates a written report automatically whenever the app is opened after your scheduled time. Reports are saved in-app and a notification is sent when each one is ready.
Is the AI giving me medical advice?
No. Metrya is a data analysis and wellness tool, not a medical device. It helps you understand patterns in your own data. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
