Mission
Metrya is designed to turn raw Apple Health data into clear, personal insights without ever compromising user privacy. The core mission is to give individuals complete ownership of their health analytics by connecting local health data directly to preferred AI models like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
By utilizing a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) architecture, sensitive health metrics stay entirely yours — no hidden subscriptions, no required cloud accounts, and your data never touches our servers.
Why I built Metrya
As a biohacker who relies on daily step tracking, sauna sessions, and cold plunges, I generate massive amounts of health data that standard dashboards fail to synthesize effectively. I wanted to actively converse with my Apple Health data to understand complex longevity signals, biological age, and recovery patterns — but I refused to hand over private metrics to third-party servers.
I built Metrya to solve this exact problem: a secure bridge between advanced LLMs and local HealthKit data, so anyone can have a private, AI-powered health advisor of their own.
About me
I'm a Polish software engineer, indie hacker, and dedicated longevity enthusiast. I balance a career as a full-stack developer with building iOS health and productivity apps late into the night using React Native and Expo. I'm deeply passionate about the "build in public" movement and actively share my journey of creating privacy-first wellness tools for the Apple ecosystem.
Outside of Metrya, you can find more of my work at jozefowicz.dev, my developer portfolio, and apps.jozefowicz.dev, where I list my other apps and side projects.
