Your month as a story, and a shorter Train
Metrya 2.12.2 adds a Monthly Recap you tap through and share. Train is shorter, and the details move to three new pages. There is a Strength index, a place to log sick days, a °C / °F setting and a small day line on Today.
Last month, as a story
At the start of each month, Reports has a recap of the month before. You tap through up to 12 pages: Strength, Recovery, nights, training, energy, body, highlights and patterns.
Reports, and Today in week one
The recap lives in Reports. On days 1 to 7 of a new month, a card on Today opens it. You can hide that card for the month.
A short video
Pick the pages and Metrya makes a video on your iPhone, ready for Instagram, WhatsApp or TikTok. The recap and the video are free.
Says when data is thin
A page with too little data from the month says so. With no weigh-ins, bio age moves up so the Body page is not empty.
Train, regrouped
Train is shorter now: Today, then your last 7 days, then your latest sessions. Everything else is one tap away, in Strength, Cardio & fitness, and Load & form. We grouped it this way to make room for more strength and fitness features.
One answer for today
Before you train, it shows today's level. Once your workouts reach today's range, it says Done for today. If you have recovered by the evening, the last line says so and that your next workout is tomorrow. The Effort and Time rings show under it. Fold them away, and they stay folded.
One load number, no score
Your load against your usual, the 28-day load graph with the last 7 days lit, and two tiles: aerobic minutes against the WHO guide of 150 (hard minutes count twice) and strength days against the guide of 2 or more. All of it is the last 7 days, so a Monday no longer shows 0 strength days.
Strength
Lifting days, kilograms and working sets for the last 7 days, hard sets per muscle and when each muscle is fresh again, your top 3 lifts, Hevy and Log strength.
Cardio & fitness
How much of your training was easy over 4 weeks, zone 2 minutes against your usual, VO₂ max, HR recovery, walking quality and best efforts.
Load & form
28 days of daily load, Training status with fitness, fatigue and form, your weekly ramp and when you usually train.
See if your lifts are moving
New numbers for the sets you log in Metrya or bring in from Hevy.
Your best vs your best
Your best lift of the last 4 weeks against your best in the last 12 weeks, overall and per lift, on its own page. It does not use a table of standards yet.
A range on the Muscle Map
Hard sets this week against a range you can edit. The default is 10–20, and a mark shows your 4-week average.
This week vs your 6 weeks
The last 7 days of lifting against your 6-week average. With less than 6 weeks of history, it shows this week only.
Fill in a Watch workout
A strength workout from Apple Watch or Health with no sets can copy sets from a template or your last session. Copied sets are marked, and Remove sets undoes it.
Sick days and flare-ups
Log has its own Sick / flare-up category. Pick a kind, how bad it is and how long it lasts.
- Kinds: migraine, cold or flu, stomach, pain flare, or other.
- How long: 1, 2 or 3 days, a week or two weeks.
- The Recovery note, Today's target, the Advisor and Habit drivers follow the whole span, not only the first day.
- Old one-tap tags still count as one day.
°C or °F, and a day line
Auto, °C or °F
In Settings › Health data. Auto follows Apple Health, then your phone. It applies to wrist and body temperature, Sentinel, workout weather, sauna, cold plunge, PDF reports and the Advisor. Routines reports still use °C for now.
Small pills under Recovery
With the Instruments layout, up to four pills under your Recovery score show water, daylight, caffeine or steps. A pill only shows for things you use. Tap one to open its page, or switch it off in Customize › Day line.
Also in 2.12.2
- Without zones from Apple Health, estimated zones now use your resting heart rate. Zone 2 sits closer to what most people mean by it. The last 90 days are worked out again, so some load numbers may drop a little.
- The Zone 2 cardio commitment in the Longevity Stack now counts real workouts with 20 minutes or more in zone 2.
- Reserve could stay on yesterday after an early settle if the watch had not synced the night yet. Recovery had the same problem. Both are fixed.
- On days when the clocks change, the sun path showed daylight an hour off.
- Switching between Train, Recover and Feel could take a few seconds with a long Hevy history. It is much faster now.
- Timed exercises from Hevy, like a dead hang or handstand practice, showed their seconds under KG. The sets table now shows a TIME column for them.
- Pull-ups, chin-ups and dips with no added weight showed no 1-rep max. They now count your body weight plus any added weight, on the exercise page, the Strength week card, new bests, the Monthly Recap and in the Advisor. Push-ups show your most reps in one set.
- Sentinel and Reserve no longer show a bare "out of 100". Sentinel shows how far you are from Watch on a Clear · Watch · Alert track. Reserve shows a battery with a mark where you usually are at this hour.
- The Sentinel page has a new picture: five arcs on one ring, one for each signal. An arc stays full when that signal is close to your usual and gets shorter when it moves the stress way. Tap a name to see last night's reading next to your 28-night median.
- The weekly "Output" score is now called Activity, the same name Train uses. Your week now says in one line what goes into each of its three scores: Night, Recovery and Activity.
- Smaller layout fixes: text that wrapped or got cut off in French, ring numbers in light mode, the empty Recovery spot on Today, and the Awake bar colour on the night page.

Your health data stays on your iPhone. The recap and every number on Train are made on this iPhone. Metrya has no server that sees your health data, and no account. Metrya shows wellness information and patterns, not causes; it is not a medical device.
